We had a great time visiting with family this week. My parents came out to the Midwest to visit my brother who lives in Wisconsin and us here. We met up in the middle in Gurnee at an indoor waterpark. It was so much fun! Unfortunately, Kyle wasn't able to go. We played the first day at the waterpark then Tuesday, we drove to Chicago to see the Shedd Aquarium. I had never been there and the kids thought it was so cool. There were lots of fish displays, a dolphin and whale show, and fun interactive exhibits for the kids. It was a little crazy because it was so busy there but a good time.
We spent one more day at the waterpark where the kids had a blast swimming in the pools all day. I'm so glad we were able to do it with my family. My girls had a great time especially with their bigger cousin, McCall. She was such a good helper and little mommy to them. Hope we will see them again soon!
We're back home and expecting my parents to visit us on Sunday for about five days. Hope the weather will cooperate so I can show them around here and what we like to do. So fun!
